Jaipur: The days after being appointed as minister in Rajasthan, Rajendra Singh Gudha had shot his mouth compared the road to the cheeks of actor Hema Malini and Katrina Kaif.
The comment was allegedly made by the Minister of State for Pancayati Raj and rural development on Tuesday at a government camp held in a village in Jhunjhunu Regency.
In the video meant by the event, Gudha was heard to say in the local dialect that the road must be like Hema Malini’s cheek, adding her to being “too old”.
The Minister made a comparison after being told about poor road conditions in the district by people who gathered to listen to it there.
He then went to say the way must be like “Katrina Kaif Pipe”.
“Katrina Kaif Ka Sayan Ki Sadak Banni Chayj,” he said in the mic sitting in the camp.
Comments were made at the ‘Prashasan Shahron’ camp ‘camp.
A Public Works Department officer was also present at the camp.
The Minister cannot be contacted for comments.
Gudha is among the 15 ministers who take an oath on Sunday.
He is one of the four newly appointed country ministers.
He represents the constituency of Udaipurwati from Jhunjhunu and was chosen as the Bahujan Party and MLA.
Gudha is one of the five BSP MLA who came out of the party and joined the Congress later.
