Mumbai: The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) on Wednesday handed the Chargesheet against the former Minister of State House Anil Deshmukh before the Special PMLA court in connection with money laundering cases.
In Chargesheet, Ed was also named Putra Deshmukh – Hrishikesh and Salil.
Chargesheet includes Deshmukh’s statement, former Chief Secretary of Maharashtra Sitaram Kunte, former Police Commissioner Mumbai Param Singh and others.
This is the second Chargesheet in this case.
In August, Ed had submitted the first Chargesheet with Nagpur Deshmukh-based trust, Shri Sai Shikshan Sanstha, Secretary of Sanjeev Palande supermarket and Personal Assistant Kundan Shinde, among others.
The agency had caught Deshmukh in this case on 2.
November he was currently in the prison guard.
Chargesheet also includes a statement around a dozen IPS-SPS cadres who allegedly obtained their posts on Deshmukh’s recommendation when he was the Minister of State House.
Ed could not obtain a copy of the report of the former Commissioner of the State Intelligence Department, Rashmi Shukla, who had recorded a telephone conversation from several influential people who allegedly discussed police transfer posts in exchange for money.
The agency has examined allegations that Deshmukh has liked police officers to post the desired transfers to consider based on related statements and documents collected during the investigation.
Ed is investigating two aspects in the money laundering case that has been registered in Deshmukh based on CBI FIR.
Deshmukh has been accused of misusing his position as a Minister of Home Affairs and asked now assistant assistant police inspector Sachin Waze to collect Rs 100 Crore from bar owners and restaurants for him every month.
Ed also examined the suspicion that Deshmukh had liked police officers to post the desired transfer to consider.
Last year, the Commissioner of the State Intelligence Department Rashmi Shukla recorded a telephone conversation from several influential people who allegedly discussed police transfer posts, including IPS officers, in exchange for money.
Shukla has submitted a report to the DGP Subodh Jaiswal, which continued to the ACS (Home) Kunte to discuss it with CM for the necessary actions.
But the government has not acted on the report and then Shukla and Jaiswal chose to representatives of the central government.
Deshmukh resigned from the post of ministers at home in April after former police chief Mumbai Param Singh made allegations of corruption against him.
