Chikkamagaluru / Bengaluru: Arjun Horacemary Police Sub-Inspector, which has been ordered on charges forced young people to drink urine when detained in May, returned in judicial detention after he was produced in front of a local court in Chikkamagaluru on Thursday.
However, the officials of the Department of Criminal Investigation (CID), however, had appealed to the court to hand over horacemery to police custody, said the Public Prosecutor Bhavana.
Judge B Pushpanjali First additional, district and court sessions will decide to submit horakeri to the police on Friday.
“We have appealed to the court to give police rights since the investigation officer has not resolved the question,” Bhavana told Ti.cid officers said that the horacemy was arrested in Bengaluru.Punit, a young child based in Kirugunda from the Dalit community, accused Horacemy, then sub-inspector at the Gonibeedu Police Station in Mudigere Taluk, Chikkamagaluru, forced him to drink urine.
Punit was taken to the station to be questioned in connection with a case, and when he asked for water, Horakei allegedly forced him to drink urine.
Punit then increased this problem to the senior police, after Chikkamagaluru police who ordered the case against Horakei.
Inspector General of Police (West Kisaran) Devajyoti Roy placed the suspension, and this case was handed over to CID.
