Coimbatore: The Tamil and Information Department of Development has issued a government order in connection with ‘Kalignar Ezhudhukol Award’ for reporters to be distributed on the birthday of the former Mr.

Mr.
Karanganidhi on June 3 every year.
Awards bring Rs 5 Lakh gifts and certificates.
The government has formed a committee to examine the application and choose the right candidate.
Professor of Chanus has been named the chairman of the committee.
Senior journalist K Jenraam, Samas, Tharasu Shyam, Professor Parveen Sultana, Author R Mallika has been announced as a member of the Committee.
Additional director of the Public Relations Department will be a member secretary.
