Thiruvananthapuram: The police have decided that the death of a 47-year-old person, whose body was found with a plastic zip bond tied around his neck on the plantation near Vattappara a day ago, as a suicide case.
The police arrived at conclusions based on the opinion of the surgeon who carried out an autopsy and pieces of other evidence collected during the investigation.
Sajeev from Idukkumthala near VattaPpara was found dead on the plantation near his residence on Thursday morning, a few hours after he went early in the morning.
He has worked as a granite shop manager who functions in the city.
The way in which his body lay with a plastic zip bond tied in the neck, gave a way for suspicion that he might have been killed by the strangulation.
On Friday, post mortem examination was carried out.
After the examination, the surgeon told the investigative officer that the sign on his neck showed that the deceased strangled him.
If someone else strangled him, it will cause the struggle and in turn it will cause injury.
The police have also recovered the note that Sajeev left behind in his cabin at his workplace.
In the note it was written that he was finished with this life.
He had directed his family to pay off the debt of Rs 2.25 lakh.
