Coimbatore: The DMK victory in the local body election is a referendum on the support of the minister’s chairman, state information and public minister M P Saminathan.
After inaugurating the permanent photography exhibition hall to highlight the achievement of the state government in the city on Wednesday, Saminathan told reporters that the welfare project carried out by Minister M K Stalin had won the people’s hearts.
“Sweep comes in a short range after forming a government is a pleasant surprise.
All credit is given to the main minister,” he said.
In Coimbatore, where the Aiadmk Alliance won all seats 10 assembly in the recent election, the DMK candidate won most of the post Local body.
For queries in the direction of the High Court to form a press council for the country, Saminathan said that the government took steps for the council’s constitution.
The Press Council will overcome all problems faced by the journalist community, he said.
Madras High Court in August directed the government To form a board within 90 days.
Saminathan said that the steps were also brought to provide homes to journalists through the Tamil Nadu housing board.
