Vadodara: With a significant difference in fuel prices between Gujarat and neighboring countries Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, many people have begun to trigger their vehicles at a gas station located on the state border.
The difference in price of gasoline, diesel and CNG has proven enough time now, but the significant difference witnessed after the recent revision has led the vehicle owner to make the road to the fuel station in Dahod.
In addition to diesel prices sold in large quantities on the highway, gasoline prices and CNG differ significantly.
Transporter has filled diesel in their truck regularly at the gas station on the border of the country in Dahod, but now even passenger vehicles and two-wheeled vehicles also follow.
Ketan Patel, who has a gas station in the Jhalod located close to the Rajasthan border, said about 100 to 150 vehicles from Rajasthan filled gasoline at the gas station.
“The price difference is significant.
Many visit Jhalod regularly to buy fuel here,” Ketan said.
Zulfikar Tena, which has a gas station on the Ahmedabad-Indore Highway in Dahod said that CNG sales have jumped significantly at its establishment.
“The increase in sales is around 1,000 kg.
The price of CNG is around Rs 65 per kg in Dahod and around 76 per kg in MP.
Some vehicles prefer to fill Gujarat because of this,” he said.
The owner shows that since long commercial vehicles that have to cross the Gujarat border prefer to get diesel in Gujarat.
“Our diesel prices have been on the bottom side.
The significant percentage of our sales is on a vehicle from Rajasthan.
Now, some increases are seen in gasoline and CNG,” said Jyoti Patel who has a gas station at the Jhalod bypass.
In the past when the difference in the price of a significant diesel between MP and Gujarat, the gas station at the Gujarat-MP border in the Odepur Chhota had installed boards and banners asking for a vehicle to be pushed there because the tariff was cheaper.
