Mumbai: Diesel prices in Mumbai are only 83 short Paises from Rs 100-Mark on Wednesday.
The price of the domestic LPG cylinder was also hiking on Wednesday, with prices touched Rs 899.50 after the rise of Rs 15 for 14.2 kg of domestic LPG cylinders.
The city diesel level on Wednesday crossed Rs 99-Mark because it was carried out until Rs 99.17 per liter in the pump.
The price of gasoline in Mumbai also jumped to Rs 108.96 per liter.
The price of gasoline and diesel in neighboring Thane and Navi Mumbai each is Rs 109.10 and Rs 99.31 per liter.
Transporter demands that the government must put the threshold ceiling at the price of diesel and gasoline and consider bringing it under GST, which can reduce the price of diesel and gasoline around Rs 20 per liter.
“The usual human household budget will go to Tizzy and it will have a silencer effect on a lively atmosphere,” said a transporter.
The highest diesel price in the state is in Amravati at Rs 100.72 per liter.
