Rajkot: Additional session judge in Surendranagar was surprised when he learned that his resignation letter was made and sent it to the Chairperson of the Gujarat High Court and Registrar.
Hakim Pratik Tamakuwala learned about a fake letter when he was asked for a reason behind the sudden resignation by the Main District Judge of SureDdenagar.
Judges submitted counterfeiting complaints, made fake documents on behalf of fictitious people, defamation, printing material known to slander and other charges at the Limbdi Police Station.
According to the police, the additional judge of the Judge accepted communication from the main district judge who also had a copy of the resignation letter.
Communication asked the judge for the reason for resignation, but the judge was surprised to see a letter of resignation as he had not written.
“The letter was sent to the chairman of Justice and Registrar by Peakral after the applicant who continued it to the District Judge of the Head of Surdranagar,” said Sub-Inspector V N Chaudhary from the Limbdi Police Station.
“The judge has alleged that the letter was written by harassment to slander it, affecting his career and the world from getting benefits from his work,” Chaudhary said.
The judge has posted in the limbdi since May 2019 and has been in court service since 2004.
