Bengaluru: JD (s) suffered a major setback after being won only two of the six contested legislative council seats, the results were bound to make difficult tasks harder for the party in the assembly selection of 2023.
All six contested seats were in the old area of MySuru, His fortress.
Chairs are chosen carefully and the ability to win in mind.
In the 2015 election, it has won four seats.
The party won at Hassan and Mysuru, while it was lost in Kolar, Tumakuru, Bengaluru of the countryside and Mandya.
Appaji Gowda’s defeat at Mandya – in the hands of Congress and Political candidates Greenhorn Dinesh Gooligowda – maybe the most because it was the second goal in less than three years in the district.
Nikhil Kumaraswamy, son of the former Head of HD Minister Kumaraswamy, has suffered a shameful defeat at the hands of Sumaratha Ambaresh in the selection of Lok Sabha.
In Tumakuru, former Chairman of the HD Minister Kumaraswamy ran a feud with Sr Srinivas, party colleagues and Gubbi MLA, and other senior party officials emerged the main reason for the party disaster as reported to work for Congress.
These results clearly show that the Gowda family handle loosened.
Many believe Kumaraswamy’s function style is responsible for the results of bad selection.
“It’s time for Kumaraswamy to realize his mistakes and take all MLA and the leaders become confident.
If not, the party will be in a very precarious condition when we go to the assembly election,” said the senior party MLA.
A number of MLA has decided to get out of the party and hold the selection of assembly of contests both at Congress or BJP tickets.
“This is the problem, repetitive debusions will only accelerate the decision to go,” another MLA said.
Some Cheerhowever, Suraj Revanna’s victory, son of Kumaraswamy HD Revanna, in Hassan’s appearance and CN Mesanjegowda in Mysuru, took cheerfully.
In the final count, Mananjegowda won with four votes and while BJP called for a recount, the results tended to stand up.
Suraj’s pounding victory showed that the Gowda family still ordered influence in Hassan.
In Mysuru, the party was in the weak goal after MLA GT Deve Gowda and sat MLC Sandesh Nagaraj fell with Kumaraswamy.
They both shared Dais with the opposition leader Siddaramaiiah in carrying out polls.
JD (s) playing with the idea of working with BJP in the pre-poll alliance but the ruling party does not show interest, fear will endanger their prospects in the old area of Mysuru.
While the understanding between the parties occurred at the local level after Kumaraswamy ratified local party units to support anyone they wanted to sit where the party did not compete, it damaged the party’s prospects, especially in Mandya, said the source.
