Bucharest: Prime Minister of Romania Florin Cadu from the National Liberal Party which arranged on Tuesday after the motion of not confidence in his government passed very well, deepened the ongoing political crisis.
Hospitality was submitted by the Social Democratic Party Opposition (PSD) and supported by former USR-Plus coalition partners, and distant Aur Party.
Movement passed with 281 votes; Only 234 is needed.
The fall of the government faced a political crisis that began a month ago when Citu fired Justice Minister Stelion Ion USR-Plus because he did not sign a regional development program.
The USR-Plus is called Move “Rough Revocation” and exit the three-party cabinet.
During the debate in parliament on Tuesday ahead of the vote, Citu attacked on the USR-plus, saying he had tolerated “an incompetent team.” President Klaus Iohannis will now consult with parliamentarians to appoint new prime ministers, while Cadu can remain in the government helmet for 45 days.
Citu can be lifted again if parliamentarians fail twice to approve the new prime minister.
Claudiu Tufi, a professor of political science at the University of Bucharest, told the Associated Press that he expected Tuesday’s votes to become a liberal cabinet with support from social Democrats.
“In parliament, but not in the cabinet,” he said.
The USR-Plus has expressed a desire to restore a coalition with a different prime minister.
The government led liberal in power after the election of the previous December parliament.
The ongoing crisis can hamper Romania’s efforts to overcome the alarming Covid-19 infection surge in the 19 million European Union, who currently placing the State Hospital under serious pressure.
On Tuesday, Romania recorded the number of Daily Covid-19 daily infections – 15,037 cases – since the pandemic began.
