Pune: Offline classes will be closed from Wednesday for students from PMS I to VIII until January 30 in Pune District, Minister Guardian Ajit Pawar said on Tuesday.
However, the class for PMS IX and X will take place so that these students can be vaccinated at school.
The decision about the physical class for PMS XI and XII will be taken in Mumbai on Wednesday.
Among other decisions he announced after the increase in Covid-19 cases, only those who were fully vaccinated, would be permitted to enter hotels, malls, private companies or governments.
‘There are no vaccines, no entries’ rules will be strictly implemented, said the pawar.
He spoke to reporters after a review meeting on Tuesday.
Of the 3,950 active cases in Pune, 88 patients were on oxygen support and 36 people needed a ventilator.
People without masks will be fined Rs 500 and those who spit in public places, said Pawar, A will pay RS 1,000 penalty.
He said that three layer surgical masks or N95 masks must be liked, and all guidelines set by experts must be followed.
The population of 36% due to the second dose of vaccination must take the earliest, he said.
“Residents, who have not taken the second dose, must take it.
The number of positive Covid-19 patients has increased dramatically,” he said.
Ajit Pawar also added that if the level of prospective exceeded 10%, it was a concerned problem.

Ajit Pawar said more guidelines throughout the state would be issued after a meeting on Wednesday with the Minister of Health and other senior government members.
