Bhubaneswar: A son of a senior journalist, who was allegedly kidnapped by unknown people from the Infocity area here on Saturday night, was found dead in a pond in Patrapada on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as anurag watersman manish (30), who will get married next month.
The police said they would investigate all possible angles, including the murder suspected when the deceased’s father, Navin Das was very suspicious, his son might be killed by the kidnappers.
The source said Manish was a businessman and had maintained his father’s tabloid.

The police said Manish had called his parents on Saturday night and told them about his dinner plan with several friends at the restaurant in Patia.

After a few hours, the police found the body of a man floated in the pool in Patrapada and identified it as Manish.
The distance between the kidnapping site and the pool is around 15 km.
The police confused how Manish came to Patrapada pool from Patia and whether his death was accidental or murder.
