The Sri Lankan Cricket Board (SLC) has raised a one-year ban from an international match imposed on Danushka Gunathilaka, the crush and Niroshan Dickella.
The trio was suspended in July last year after they violated the team’s bio-bubble protocol during the English tour.
A video posted on social media shows the players are outside the hotel team appointed in Durham.
“Sri Lanka Cricket has decided to lift a one-year suspension imposed on three players above from playing international cricket, in the three formats, with direct effects,” the council said in a statement on Friday.
“However, the suspension lifted will remain suspended for a period of two years, where the behavior of the three players will be monitored tightly by SLC.” Sri Lanka will host Zimbabwe in three international days from January 16-21.
