Vadodara: University M decided to maintain the status quo in the cost of assistance and dormitory costs charged to foreign students.
The University International Affairs Office (OIA) has recently held a committee meeting to decide on the budget for the cost of assistance from foreign students and US ASRIL US fees for the 2021-22 academic year.
OIA officials said that it was decided that the university would continue to charge the costs of rs 20,000 per year due to the cost of foreign student assistance to students registered under the Scheme of the Council of India (ICCR) and Rs 25,000 per year for foreign students.
The university also charges a fee of Rs 25,000 per year as a cost of hostels for foreign students that are much higher than local students.
A foreign student registered at the University pays Rs 45,000 to Rs 50,000 per year other than the cost of other courses that are the same as regular fees charged to local students.
“We collect foreign student assistance costs through which we provide classes in Indian languages ​​such as Hindi and Gujarati, cultural exchange programs, outdoor activities and other extra-curricular activities,” said Director Oia Dr Dhanesh Patel.
Need to be mentioned here that this university has received a record number 852 foreign application to be transferred via ICCR.
