Chatra: District administration has begun a survey in 68 villages in Chatra for the purposes of land acquisition for freeway projects Varanasi-Kolkata under Bharatmala Pariyanajana.
The proposed 610 KM Varanasi – Kolkata Expressway is expected to appear in an investment of Rs 2,500 Crore and after that it is ready, it will shorten travel time between the two objectives.
This highway is a 4th / 6-line access controlled highway with route streaming that connects Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, Ranchi in Jharkhand and Kolkata in West Bengal, said an official.
Provides details about the villages where the identification process has begun, an official said, “From 68 villages, 29 were in Chatra Sadar Block, 24 in Huntergunj, 11 in Simaria and four in Pathalagada.” He added that the Government Government had searched for reports on the availability of land they began working on the ground.
