According to the survey, nine villages in DB Kuppe Gram Panchayat and eight villages at Bidarahalli GP in HD Kote Taluk have been identified with the hazardous hazard ‘category’ very high ‘while five villages in Periyapatna Taluk, two villages in Taluk and seven villages.
In Sargur Taluk has been identified in the ‘high risk’ category.
More than 7,300 people are expected to be vulnerable to flooding in the ‘very high’ zone on HD Kote Temporary Taluk 953 people in Periyapatna, 3,511 in T Narasipura and 5,224 Sarguru people net in the ‘high risk’ area.
