The agency said research involving more than 1,500 participants showed that vaccines provide almost complete protection for children aged 5-11 against Covid-19.
Agency adds that side effects include pain in injection or fatigue, sometimes headaches, legilities of the leg and fever.
According to the latest data, 66 percent of Swiss citizens have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
