Mumbai: Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope on Saturday said that the third wave peak of Covid-19 ended in the state because of the cases of reductions in cities such as Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, Palghar were the worst.
“Yes, I can say that the third wave peak is over now because the Covid-19 case decreases in cities such as Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, Palghar where the situation is the worst during the Covid-19 pandemic wave recently.
Even in some parts Maharashtra is still, the cases move up, “said Tope Ani.
“However, in cities such as Nashik, Nagpur, Pune, Aurangabad’s number still rises but there is no reason to worry even in these places because infected people are cured in 5 to 7 days with simple treatment and drugs,” he added .
He further added that the positive number of Daily Covid dropped.
“We are at 47,000 per day which has dropped to around 25,000 per day.
At the same time 92 to 96 percent of the bed is empty and less than one percent of patients are in oxygen, ICU or ventilator.” At present there are 2,70,444 cases of Active Covid-19 in Maharashtra.
Cumulative recovery reached 72,42,649.
While cumulative death reached 1,42,461.
