Jaipur: The state government has decided to reopen schools for classes 5-8 and 1-5 on September 20 and 27, with a capacity of 50% in accordance with the revised Covid-19 guidelines on Friday.
The decision was taken considering the sharp decline in cases of viruses and countries that approached the target provided at least one dose of vaccination to all of its qualified population.
Success in carrying out grade 9 to 12 from July 12 is also a major factor behind the reopening of complete schools.
The decision means around two crores, including 1.80 Crore students and 20 lakh’s teaching and non-teaching staff, will start attending school.
The government makes physical classes optional for students and has asked for school to continue the online class for those who do not want to attend offline classes.
“The presence will be optional for all classes and schools will not pressure any students to attend classes,” said command.
The school bag will remain closed and all objects that come into contact with teachers and students must be dissed every day.
“Articles such as chairs, fences, surfaces, door handles must be dissed every day,” said the command.
The state has made it mandatory to teach and non-teaching staff, including bus drivers and conductors, to take at least one vaccination dose before starting their duties.
“Schools have been directed to make sitting sitting right in the classroom after social distance norms,” said the rule.
Online learning will remain the preferred educational mode and must be encouraged by the school.
Detailed standard operating procedures (SOP) will be released soon for school.
Meanwhile, in large assistance for families who are preparing to do marriage, the state has a relaxed norm by allowing 200 people to attend rituals and ceremonies.
The event manager has pressed to increase the number of 100 to 200 so that the ceremony can be held well and to produce work.
