Surat: As part of a large anti-encroachment drive, Railroad officials removed 1,650 unauthorized structures built on land owned by Indian trains between Bharthan to Utran in the district letter.
Encroachment was removed for the first two days of three day drive drives, 900 encroachment was removed from the west side of Udhna-Utran.
While the 750 illegal structure was removed from the west side of Udhna on Wednesday, the second day of the drive, said the train official.
On Thursday, the authorities planned to remove around 850 encroachment from Udhna-East and Western Bhestans.
The drive is done with the help of the Civic and Police Authority.
Incidentally, on August 24, 2021 around 1,000 encroachment was removed between Udhna-letter East Side while on January 4, 2022 a total of 2,546 was released from the east side of the UDHNA-letter.
