WASHINGTON: The United States will continue talks with Taliban next week in Qatar, speaks among other issues that fight terrorism and humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan.
The American delegation will be led by US special representatives for Afghanistan, Tom West, to be planned for two weeks of discussion, said the Ned Price Department spokesman Tuesday.
Both parties will discuss “our vital national interests,” which includes counterterrorism operations against Islamic and al-Qaeda groups, humanitarian assistance, destroyed Afghan economics, and safe roads from Afghanistan for US citizens and Afghanistan works for America United During the 20-year war.
