Rome: Vatican Bio-Ethics Academy and World Medical Association on Friday called for all-out efforts to combat vaccine doubts and improve “myths and information ” which slowed the fight against Coronavirus.
In a joint statement the group said that some vaccine reluctance in the country – poor countries rooted in historical inequality and suspicion of Western pharmaceutical companies, they also said that “more dangerous forms” doubts driven by false news, myths and disinformation regarding the safety of vaccines, including among religious groups and some in the medical community.
