Ahmedabad: Gujarat High Court on Thursday issued a notification to the state government and a woman, who was a native of Gandevi in South Gujarat, after her husband Nri complained that he had disappeared with their daughter.
Child detention has been given to him by the court in Texas, he told the court.
The applicant is the Tamil who lives in the city of Dallas Texas.
US citizens have been seeking prisoners of his six-year-old daughter from his wife, who allegedly took children without his knowledge during their Indian visit.
According to the details placed in front of the court, the applicant, who was a professional was employed with US defense services, married Gujarati women in the US in 2008.

He then approached the High Court and filed a Habeas Corpus petition, allegating that the government had failed to pay attention to his complaint because he did not know Hindi or Gujarati.
He alleged that his wife had taken his passport and other travel documents too.
He must visit his original place and Delhi to equip himself with a new travel document, his lawyer was submitted.
At the court query about the existence of the woman, the lawyer said that he lived in Ahmedabad.
The Petitioner’s advocate quoted various assessments to say that Corpus Habeas petition can be maintained if parents have forcibly take child custody.
Judicial bench Sonia Gokani and Justice Mauna Bhatt said that the law in this case was developed and the court would make a decision with the best child interest.
The High Court has been looking for replies from the government and women on February 1.
