New Delhi: While investigating the alleged rape of a 21-year-old woman in Kasturba Nagar on Wednesday, Police Delhi on Sunday said they had registered other cases on complaints by Survivor sisters.
The woman has reported that the neighbors have struggled and harassed them sexually.
The complaint was submitted on January 20.
The woman said that on January 19, the neighbor of the defendant, who then kidnapped and attacked her sister on the Republican Day, had struggled and damaged their family’s autorickshaw.
The woman named several attackers, which included women.
The girl also wrote that she was sexually harassed by male members of the family.
“Every time I get out of my house, they (accused of) beat me and also tore my clothes.
They have damaged the refrigerator, sewing machine, and other items in my house,” the complainant wrote.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) R Sathiyasundaram said they had registered a case.
Other officers said this case had been ordered under the persecution, voluntarily caused wounds, criminal intimidation, damage and insulting the simplicity of a woman under the IPC.
“The damaged autorickshaw has been fixed.
This will be given to the Survivor family and we will also help the girl to pursue further study,” DCP said.
On January 26, the complainister sister was allegedly kidnapped and locked up into a room, beaten and sexually attacked by a group of men and women.
Survivor told the police that he was kidnapped from Karkardoom Village, where he lived quietly after the threat of the families accused.
He was kidnapped and brought back to Kasturba Nagar.
Survivor also told the police that the defendant also tried to incite each other to cut his genitals.
