Thiruvananthapuram: In a suspected murder case, a 38-year-old woman was found dead at her workplace in the city with several injuries stabbing her neck on Sunday afternoon.
Vinitha, a resident of Karupporte near Nedumangad is the deceased.
He was found dead in wholesale factory nurseries, Tabs Agri Clinic, located at Ambala Nagar near Ambalamukku.Police said that they received information about death at around 1:30 a.m.
It was the owner of the Thomas Mamman shop that reminded the police.
According to Mamman, Vinitha is one of three store staff, which functions in a house at Ambala Nagar.
Even though the store was closed on Sundays because it was locked, Vinitha was assigned to the task of watering plants.
Thus, he reached the shop around 9:30 a.m.
on his scooter.
He also called Mamman from home calls to register his presence.
Moments after 12 noon, Mamman received a telephone from a regular customer, who claimed that he visited the shop but could not find the staff there.
Mamman arrived at the store along with other staff to check and find Vinitha’s body lying in the corner of one of the rooms.

The people in the neighborhood saw Vinitha watering plants around 11:30 a.m.
The customer visited the store for a few moments after 12 noon, but could not find anyone there.
“The closest surveillance camera on the closet of the crime scene is in the shop two buildings away from the baby’s room.
We have collected video recordings from the camera to be checked, “said the inspector.
The family who died complained that Vinitha was wearing a gold necklace weighing 36 grams, which was lost from the body.
The police suspected it could be a murder case for profit.
