LONDON: The former Head of the England Vaccine assignment said on Tuesday that vaccines against Covid-19 need to be cheaper to be given – whether with patches, pills or sprays – to ensure the countries do not have to spend so much.
“We cannot be in a position where we have to go through this monumental logistics challenge to truly get a vaccine into a hug,” Kate Bingham, former chairman of the British vaccine Taskforce, told the Parliament Committee.
“So another area I think must push forward is: how we improve this vaccine format so that they are much easier and cheaper to spread whether they are patches, pills or sprays”, he said.
