Vadodara: The owl reportedly used for the tantric ritual (Black Magic) was saved by the Gujarat community for prevention of cruelty of animals (GSPCA) and wildlife volunteers in the city of Vadodara.

After recovering, it will be released in the original habitat,” said Raj Bhavsar, Secretary, GSPCA.
“In India, the owl is considered ‘Vahana’ or Mount Lakshmi – Dewi wealth and prosperity – worshiped during Diwali.

GSPCA volunteers and forest officials invaded the place after they received a tip-off of animal sacrifice.
They found two dead goats buried after rituals in place.
