Mysuru: The Dalit organization called for Mysuru Bandh on Monday between 6am and 6pm in protest against alleged humiliation of the icon of Dalit Br Ambedkar.
Bandh organizers say emergency services will not be disturbed on Monday.
However, the police warned of actions if anyone imposed bandh forcefully.
“We will deal with them according to the law,” they said.
Police Commissioner Chandragupta told that the police had suggested activists against the organization of Bandh because of opposing the Judgment of the Supreme Court.
“If anyone holds bandh force, we will start legal action,” he told.
Meanwhile, the Federation of Organizations and Association of MySuru (Foam) told that all business companies will remain open on Monday.
“We will expand moral support to bandh calls.
However, since the plague of pandemic, there are situations such as bands in this country.
If we close the company and business shops again, it will cause more losses to businesses,” said BS Prashanth, President , Foam.
