Kapurthala: The day after a young man was punished at the Golden Temple for the alleged actions of the sauce at Sanctum Sanctorum, another unidentified young man was hacked to death in front of the police in a Gurdwara in the district of Kapurthala on Sunday after being accused of not respecting Nishan Sahib (religious flag Sikh) .
Another man who was beaten to death after the alleged struggling effort in Punjab I was arrested around 4am, allegedly tried to steal from Gurdwara near Nijampur Village.
He was limited to a room in the Gurdwara complex when the police team arrived about three hours later, followed by a group of attackers holding Kirpan.
Three police officers – a Station house officer and two Asis – injured trying to save the defendant from the Sikh youth who entered the room and attacked the defendant with their sword, police said.
Officials said they would submit a case of defamation against the deceased, although initial investigations showed that it was the theft case.
While all were found intact in the room where Master Granth Sahib was stored, the young people were found wearing two jackets, one of them he thought to take from the room on the ground floor of the building where the Gurdwara guard lived with his family and aide.
The difficulty began in the morning after caregiver, Amarjit Singh, immediately lived from his Facebook account, accusing the effort to be enrolled by the youth he and his aide was caught and limited to a room.
He did not immediately report the incident to the nearest police station, located a few meters from Gurdwara.
Mentioned the incident Saturday at the Golden Temple, where Lynching’s victims had scaled up the fence and jumped into Sanctum Sanctorum in the midst of the evening prayer, Amarjit alleged that the intruders were arrested in His Gurdwara who were not valued by Nishan Sahib.
Livestream recording shows youth destroyed and questioned.
Amarjit claimed that in the video he said the suspect he had been “sent” from Delhi and his sister was also killed for blasphemy.
In another video questioned by the suspect by Amarjit and others in the presence of SGPC members Jarnail Singh Dogranwala, caregivers can be heard saying that when he woke up around 4am, there were some noise upstairs.
He did not see the suspect until some time later, when he made tea and heated food.
Kapurthala SSP H P S Khakh said that Amarjit told the police at 7:30 a.m.
“When the police reached, Amarjit and others did not let the police take the suspect.
Immediately, the crowd went around Gurdwara, apparently after seeing the caregiver.” Announcement seems to be made, asking people to come to Gurdwara.
SSP Khakh said the police reinforcements from other parts of the district were called even when the group’s crowd and Sikh activists swelled.
Some young men scale Gurdwara’s boundary after police closed the gate to stop the person out.
“Our officers tried to negotiate with a horde and took the suspect away, but with the new Darbar Sahib incident in the minds of people, emotions ran high.
In riots, a group of people managed to attack the suspect,” said Jalandhar Zone Ig Gorinder Singh Dhillon.
The attackers came out saying “Sodha La Dtatta (he was sorted)”, said the source.
The young man was taken to the Civil Hospital in the Kapurthala, where he was declared dead on arrival.
IG Dhillon and SSP Khakh then held a presser, said the two cases were being registered – one of the contrary to the deceased and the other of the other murder and violations, including blocking their police officials and attacked them.
Among other things, IG left the conference to attend the call on his cellphone.
When he returned, he just said one fir, from the blasphemy, would be registered for now.
The police detained the Gurdwara Amarjit guard, but he was released at night after Sikh groups protested near the temple and blocked the road.
SGPC member Jarnail Singh Dogranwala, who reached Gurdwara at 9 am, said that from his question, the suspect seemed to come from Bihar.
“I urged Amarjit and other people to hand them to the police but some of them were there against him,” he said.
