New Delhi: There is no breakthrough in the 14th talk between the Indian and Chinese military and both parties agreed to stay in touch and maintain a dialogue to determine the resolution of the remaining problems at the beginning, according to a shared statement.

Naravane said on Wednesday that India hoped to solve problems related to the release in Patrolling Point 15 (hot springs) in East Ladakh in 14th discussion.
The 14th Meeting of Commander of the Indian-China Corps Commander was held at the Chushul-Moldo border meeting point on the Chinese side on Wednesday.
Representatives from defense and foreign companies from both parties attended the meeting, a shared statement.
“Both parties have an exchange of honest and deep views for relevant problem resolution along the LAC in the West (Ladakh border),” mentioned.
They agreed that both parties must follow the “guidelines provided by state leaders” and work for the settlement of the earliest problems, he said.
“It is noted that this will help in the recovery of peace and tranquility along the LAC in the West sector and allow progress in bilateral relations,” mentioned.
Both parties also agreed to consolidate previous results and take effective efforts to maintain security and stability in the field in the west sector including during the winter, he said.
“Both parties agreed to stay in touch and maintain dialogue through military and diplomatic channels and develop resolutions that can be received by the earliest problem,” mentioned.
Both parties agreed that the next round of the commander’s talk must be held earlier, said the statement.
The 13th round talk has occurred on October 10 last year and has ended up a dead end.
