La Palma: There is no direct tip seen in the volcano eruption that has caused chaos at the Spanish Isle La Palma since it began about a month ago, the President of the Canary Islands said on Sunday when there were 42 seismic movements on the island.
Measured 4.3 biggest, according to the Spanish national geographical institute.
“There are no signs that the end of the eruption is close even though this is the greatest desire for everyone,” said President Angel Victor Torres at a socialist party conference in Valencia, citing the views of scientists.
The flow of lava has waste to more than 742 hectares (1,833 hectares) of land and destroyed nearly 2,000 buildings in La Palma since the volcano began to erupt on September 19.
About 7,000 people have been evacuated from their home on the island, which has 83,000 residents and forms a part of the Canary Archipelago Off Northwestern Africa Islands.
Binter Airline said it had canceled all of his flights to La Palma until 1 noon (1200 GMT) on Sundays due to the ashes of the volcano.
Nearly half – 22 of 38 – Of all flights to the island on Sunday has been canceled, the Aena State Airport operator said, but the airport there remained open.
