Kolkata: The CBI Probe of the High Court monitored by Calcutta is an example of alleged murder and sexual violence during violence after the poll in Bengal did not find evidence in 21 rape cases and tried rape that found the mention in the National Human Rights Commission report.
The NHRC report included 64 alleged incidents of rape and tried rape.
In his status report to the court on Monday, CBI said it had registered 39 cases and investigated four others after sending 21 of them to the Bengal Police Special Investigation Team to want evidence.
Agency said it had sent back two “murder cases” to sit on the same reason.
The CBI investigated 52 allegations of unnatural murder or death related to violence after the poll.
It has submitted a sheet of costs in 10 cases while 38 is more in various stages of investigation.
NHRC reported 59 murders, where the state government recognized 29.
The CBI probe was institutionalized on August 19 and the Constitution sitting under the supervision of retired judges to investigate other criminal cases.
The five judges, led by former chairman of Judge Rajesh Bindal, also directed NHRC, the state government and all commissions or other committees who have received complaints to surrender to the CBI all records relating to murder and alleged crimes against women during the violent wave of violence opinion.
The government of Bengal moved the Supreme Court on September 1, challenging HC’s command.
The accusation of rape and murder emerged after the victory of the Trinamool Congress’s landslide in the eight phase poll, the results stated in May 2.
