Mumbai: The city did not register an Omicron case on Saturday, but six cases were reported from all states.
The renewal of the state government on Saturday said six cases included three of Pune Rural, two of the Pimpri-Chinchwad and one of Pune City.
The state calculation of the Omicron case reached 460.
Of these, 327 cases came from Mumbai.
Because Omicron is only detected through gene sequencing, which requires three to five days to provide results, officials say that daily calculations are not direct indicators of increased covid-omicron cases.
