Bengaluru: The Minister of State for Union for Fertilizer and Chemicals Bhagwant Khuba on Wednesday claimed that the increase in essential commodity prices had not affected ordinary people.
He also blamed the Congress to create a commotion over this issue.
“Where is the public anger? There is no anger at all.
This is you (the media) and Congress that creates a commotion (problem increase price).
People are not affected by price increases and all content and happy.
Only Congress protested , “Khuba said when asked about increasing important commodity prices.
Holding the Congress responsible for the increase in fuel prices, Khuba said the loan raised by the UPA Congress through oil bonds has resulted in the current situation and the Modi government tried to get it back to its track.
He, however, refused to divulge details about how many loans were paid off by saying the Ministry of Petroleum was not below it.
He also attacked the opposition leader Siddaramaia for disseminating the wrong information about the scarcity of fertilizer in the state.
“There is no shortage of fertilizer.
The government has enough stock.
Congress in despair to win Sindgi and Bypolls Hangal spread like that,” Minister said.
