The residents of the locality said: “The work began more than two years ago.
The whole area has been excavated but the work moves slowly and whatever they dug now looks like two lakes because rain water has filled both parties.
There are no basic security measures or Security taken by the authorities.
There are hundreds of students who walk past the place and the road runs very small and narrow that only one person at a time carefully can walk through the road.
If rain is heavy, even it will be swept and fall; That’s the only way that connects one side of the way to another.
At night this place is even more dangerous; People cannot walk well, people pass – for fear of their safety and we have an incident with thieves too.
There are no street lights in the area.
There are nearby garment factories where women work, and at night, their safety is often at stake.
The whole process has been postponed so long that it causes difficulties for pedestrians, occupants and anyone in the area.
”
Stretch digging becomes impossible to cross during rain; Lack of street lights and safety steps make it unsafe to walk
Other residents added that the intention of rubbing to alleviate the lives of Jnanabharathi layout, citizens of the forest layout and many people who are accustomed to taking buses / taxis / autos for their daily income and academic purposes.
“This is a joint venture between the train and Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP).
Everything is fine until the train put the beam formed under the footsteps and completed their work last year.
Building the way from this rubbing and connecting the road is a task The BBMP that they started without proper planning.
They dug 20 feet on the steep side.
It caused landslides and problems for the nearest population.
The BBMP poured out until the rainy season ended and planned to start in January 2021.
The situation was bad for those who used stretches It is to reach the metro station, the bus stands in front of the RV College of Engineering.
There is no street lights; there is no road that is safe for people here who are struggling.
