Vadodara: The two famous Conmen who stole money from people at the SSG Hospital were arrested on Sunday.
Defendant Duo – Khushnund aka Khush Malek and Juned aka Makkhi Sheikh – will pretend that their wallets are gone and start shocking people and to live with the money the victims.
Police said that the two defendants always moved by often changing their address.
However, they were arrested through the supervision of CCTV cameras installed at SSG hospitals and elsewhere in the city.
“The defendant would target random people in crowded places such as canteens or medical stores and began leveling of charges on them that they stole a duo wallet.
The duo will then make the victims and will take money from their wallets,” said Assistant Commissioner of Police Megha Tewar.
“People should not let their unknown person frick, no matter what they set.
Instead, they must contact the police by pressing the control room number,” added Tewar.
Malek was even previously booked in a similar case at various police stations including Raopura, Gorwa, Wadi, JP Road and Nadiad Town.
The police confiscated Rs 15,500 in cash, scooters, and two cellphones from the duo.
