Patna: With an exponential increase in Omicron cases around the world, the third wave of Covid-19 is almost certain now, say a health professional.
Although the state has not reported the Omicron case to date, the number of people infected with this new variant is increasing rapidly in various states and the possibility of Bihar sooner or later.
Health experts estimate that the third wave of Covid-19 can be witnessed early next year if the current trend continues.

Sanjeev Kumar said that many people came to countries from all over the world and local communities were not strictly adhering to the safety protocol, the Omicron variant would definitely be in the second week of January.
“Omicron spreads at a price we have never seen with the previous variant.
There is a need for readiness because this new variant is very contagious and dodge immunity.
Even people who are vaccinated with multiple doses are reportedly infected with this tension,” he said, adding that the genome sequencing must be done correctly in more places in the state.

More than 60 cases have been reported from our country and if it spreads like this, the third wave will definitely crash into Indian countries, including Bihar in a few months,” he said.

Shah suggested that the government should consider proposals for the administration of a vaccine booster dose to the people who were vaccinated with two doses so they could be protected from viruses.
