Mangaluru: Edward D’Souza, Principal of High School Zilla Panchayat in Kattadailu, 11 km from the city of Belthangady, will receive the best-level teacher award from the Chairman of the Minister of Basavara Basavai on Sunday.

He was then transferred to another backward school.

Over the past two decades, he has collected almost Rs 1 Crore for his development.
“At one point, I distributed 300 cash boxes to local shops, asking them to contribute again every day for a month.
I also contribute to funds in person for every work done,” he said.
School organizes community development programs and health camps.
