Letter: About 3,000 fans tend to participate in the Cyctothon held on December 26 by the Gujarat government with the theme ‘Fit India, Fit Gujarat’ in the letter.
Online registration for the same starts on Wednesday.
Aayush Oak’s letter collector said, “In urban areas, diseases related to lifestyles are increasing and spreading awareness about fitness, the state government along with SMC and city police have organized Cyctothon.” There will be two categories for registration – one for amateur cyclists (10-15 km route) and the other is for professional cyclists (30 km route).
Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, and Health Minister Gujarat Rushikesh Patel will also participate in the event.
The Cyclothon will start near the University of Bhagvan Mahavir in Vesu and end up in the same place.
A similar event will also be held by Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) on the same day to encourage people to switch to this clean transportation mode.
This event will be held near Mukharjee Shyama Art Gallery on the Racing Line.
