Coimbatore: Three wall painters reportedly died after drinking alcohol mixed with thinner paint in Pappanacedacepalayam on Thursday.
The couple was identified as M partriban, 35 and S police source courses said.
“The trio had consumed liquor in a building left near Pattatharasiamam’s temple in Pappanaticyedapalayam on Thursday night.
They went to their homes on foot after 6:30 p.m.
Sakthivel and Muruganandam fainted near the grocery store.
Relatives of Sakthivel took him to His house and told the service of 108-ambulance.
Emergency medical technicians from ambulance services declared him to death.
Murugaandam was rushed to Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital (CMCH), where the doctor stated he was taken dead.
Parthiban was found dead at his house, “said a police officer.
“Introductory investigation revealed that the trio had mixed paint with liquor.
But the cause of death will be announced only after we get postmortem and forensic reports,” the officer added.
