Panaji: Calangute police on Wednesday arrested three people in connection with the attack at a nightclub located next to the leading restaurant on the Calangute beach on Tuesday night.
Three people were injured during the attack, where there was also shooting in the air.
Two separate firs have been submitted.
Reacting to the incident, Chairman of the Minister of Pramod Sawant on Wednesday said that the Calangute incident was the result of business competition, and that the state government would not tolerate the incident in the coastal belt.
First First Registered based on complaints by Jude Lobo, Souza Lobo restaurant owner, against unknown people.
The club is in his property.
The second FIR was registered with complaints of Navin Kumar, a resident of Himachal Pradesh, who was an eyewitness for a fired gun.
The police booked one of the people who were injured by shooting in the air, and recovering the local gun.
