KORHA (Katihar): Three people died and one was injured critically when their car traveled by crashing into a parked truck at NH-31 near Gerabari Chowk fuel station under the Korhar police station on Monday night.
The stone-loaded chip trucks were parked on the side of the highway when the car came from the side of the cursela crashing.
Sho of Korha Police Station, Rupak Ranjan Singh, said the accident occurred around 11:15 a.m.
“Prima Facie, it appears that the car moves at high speed on the right side of the highway.
It crashed into a truck parked on the left side of the highway.
The police patrol team rushed to the place after hearing a big voice,” Sho said.
He added the impact of a collision so strong that one of the car residents died in place.
“The skull was found open.
The other second died on the way to the Korha Community Health Center,” Singh added.
According to Sho, the victims were identified as Ram Kumar (28), Vikas aka Golu (23) and Sunil Kumar Sah (29), all from Katihar Regency.
The driver of the car, Ravi Choudhary, was injured critically.
He underwent treatment at the Purnia Government Medical College and Hospital.
Pankaj Kumar motor vehicle inspector, who visited the accident site for an investigation, said, “District administration has crashed into black spots on NH-31.
Some steps were taken to check the accident, including the construction of a roar strip and intensified the highway patrol.”
