Vadodara / Anand: Cybercrime Police in Anand has arrested three people accused of raping a woman and extorting it with obscene videos and photos.
The defendant included an advocate from Ahmedabad and a doctor from the city of Borsad in Anand District.
According to the detail revealed by the victim before the police, he has developed a relationship with one of the defendants who was identified as Sandeep Tarpe, a resident of Jeevandeep Society Anand, who worked as a photographer.
Before one and a half years, the Duo had entered a verbal battle of extramarital affairs after Tarke who allegedly started money from the woman.
The woman was then connected with an advocate based in Ahmedabad, Pradyuman Gohil who had convinced to help her.
But Gohil raped him in a hotel where Tarke was also present.
Photographs and nude videos of women were arrested at the hotel.
The victim had revealed before the police that he was raped several times by the duo that threatened him that they would make viral images and videos on the social media platform.
Regarding the third accusation, the victim has stated that Dr.
Mehul Prajapati began to harass him after he took him to the primary health center at Borsad for treatment.
Even when he blocked Prajapati’s cellphone number, he began receiving calls and messages from other numbers.
Based on victim complaints, the trio has been booked below 376 D, 34 of the Criminal Procedure and Cradle and Part 67 of the IT Law.
