Thiruvananthapuram: Public Works Minister Mohamed Riyas has suspended three officials of the Public Works Department (PWD) to repair the new road placed in Kollam.
The officials were suspended after the Wing Wing Wing Report PWD.
Repairs were carried out along the Malaavila-PulikaZhi Road of Ummannoor Panchayat in Kottarakkara.
Some complaints were received for repairs on the road they had just been placed.
After repair, the road is broken.
Based on the complaint received, the Minister asked the PWD vigilance wing to conduct an investigation and immediately submit a report.
The Minister took action against three officials based on this report.
“There are many sincere officials in the departments that are committed and really dedicated to their work.
They have worked day and night.
As a minister, I personally congratulate them because of their exemplary work,” Riyas said.
“However, incident It will sabotage all good work done by department officials.
Therefore it is very important to take corrective steps to clean the system in the department.
There will be no compromise about such problems and have been decided to take strict action on the official.
Anywhere In the state if there is a problem as it is reported, then it must be communicated to the minister’s office, “he added.
