Rajkot / Letter: Three people surrendered to Covid-19 infection in 24 hours ended Friday.
In Rajkot, a 75-year-old man, a resident of Morbi Road Area, died at Rajkot’s private hospital.
He was fully vaccinated but had co-morbid conditions including diabetes.
He has developed symptoms on November 20 and tested positive on November 22.
A 78-year-old man in Valsad also gave up on infection.
Officials said he suffered from hypertension, diabetes and had even undergone angioplasty in the past.
A family in his neighborhood had returned from Mumbai a few weeks ago and they have tested positive.
Allegedly he contracted infection from them.
He lived in the Bhagdawada area in the city of Valsad and died on Thursday during treatment at Kasturba Hospital.
He has tested positive for Covid-19 on November 27.
In the city of Gariyadhar District Bhavnagar, a 64-year-old man died at the hospital.
Diabetes, he has taken a dose of vaccine.
