Chandrapur: Local Crime Branch (LCB) saved three teenage girls from Pune and arrested four kidnappers on Friday.
Two of these girls were lost from the city of Waror on Monday, while the third lost on the same day from Babulgaon Village in Yavatmal District.
Two girls studying at STD VIII and STD IX were missing from their home on September 27 at Waror Town.
They have left their homes together with the pretext of going to their friend’s birthday party, but don’t return home.
Following the complaints submitted by their parents, Police Warora registered abduction violations because the two girls were less than 15 years old.
Police Supervisors (SP) Arvind Salve asked LCB to investigate this problem.
The investigation carried out by police inspector LCB Ballasaheb Khade revealed that the missing girls came into contact with several young men from Ralegaon in Yavatmal.
Therefore, the police team was sent to Ralegaon and during the investigation discussed that another girl from Babulgaon Village in Yavatmal had disappeared in the same way on the same day on the same day on the same day on the same day on the same day.
A violation in connection with the third lost girl was registered at the Babulgaon police station.
After being confirmed that the three girls were kidnapped by the same gang, the LCB team traced their location in the Ranjangaon in Pune District.
Sleuth LCB was then sent to Ranjangaon and the police there gathered four young men accused of being involved in kidnapping, with the help of Pune Police.
The three girls were saved from the defendant, namely Rohit Sangile (20), Subham Manekar (22), Pramod Sonavane (22) and Prashik Bhoyar (23), all residents of Ralegaon.
All the defendants were arrested and taken to Warora, while the girls who were saved were handed over to their respective families, the official source claimed.
