Bokaro: Three workers died and three injuries when the elevator where they worked fell on the ground from a height of 29 meters in Electrosteel Plant (ESL) in Bokaro on Monday night.
The victims were workers from private companies allocated work replacement work by the company, officials said on Tuesday.
Deputy Commissioner Bokaro Kuldeep Chaudhary said that they had held a meeting of company officials.
“After meeting the ESL CEO, we will decide on further action.” ESL management has convinced compensation to the deceased relatives.
The bodies were received by family members on Tuesday.
The Bokaro zone factory inspector, Dhirender Singh Mundender began his investigation on Tuesday morning.
The elevator where the incident occurred was not operating over the past four years.
Workers are sent by private agents who roam to replace the elevator.
