Hyderabad: Even before the city recovered from a massive manner and a situation like a flood that threw a living out of the equipment on Friday night, heavy rains accompanied by a hard clap and lightning bolts watched witnessed in the city on Saturday.
Cloudburst who was first reported on LB Nagar Zone around 5pm spread to almost all other areas of the city in the next 30 minutes.
Intense rain triggered a tough puddle for the second day in a row, because some areas lay low throughout the city came under the rainwater, with the GHMC building near Tank Bund noted 95.5 mm rainfall around 8:30 a.m.
In some areas around Lake Saroornagar, water looks entering not only housing and home colonies but also a commercial complex.
Asian theater Shiva Ganga in Gaddiannaram in Dilsukhnagar was flooded with rainwater which caused the collapse of a compound wall.
Nearly 50 vehicles parked were damaged in an accident, the local residents said.
In the old city, life changed unexpectedly for thousands of residents, especially those who lived in the downstream area of the Musi River, because the heavy inflows of the upstream area caused eight sagar careers and four gates of Sagar flood with 5,600 and 2,250 cusecs outflows.
The residents living in this lowlands say they have no place to go if their area is flooded.
“Officials have reminded us of flooding for the fourth or fifth time this year but not enough shelters or arrangements have been made,” said Fatima Begum, a resident of Shaikpet, said.
However, GHMC officials monitor the situation said they had issued a high warning in this area and made the necessary settings.
“We have told the locals that we made all the necessary arrangements at the Hall of our community,” said Deputy Commissioner GHMC, Charminar Zone, said G Rajnikanth.
Visually of several vehicles and car trolleys were swept on the road after heavy rains on Friday also became viral on social media.
In the old city, rainwater goes into an Iranian cafe, where customers look sit and eat with flood water covered legs.
Other videos show automatic trolleys and cars parked swept in areas where the current is stronger.
Among the floods in the old city, Yakutpura, Tolichowki, Rein Bazaar, Moazzam Jahi Market, Nouban Bazaar, Dabeerpura, Chatrinaka, Bahadura and Azampura are the worst.
Rain also disrupts traffic on all major highways.
Some commuters bring Twitter and post visual vehicles trapped on the road due to a tough puddle.
