Kolkata: The National Secretary General of TMC Abhishek Banerjee on Wednesday mocked BJP for Durga Puja pocketed Tag Heritage UNESCO, said the “trick” of the Safron Party and “Bifotry” during the assembly poll had been damaged.
UNESCO on Wednesday gave a legacy status to the Durga Puja Kolkata festival, bringing glory to the country, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chairman of the Minister of Mamata Banerjee praised the move.
“Durga Puja in Kolkata has just been written on a list of intangible inheritance.
Congratulations, India,” the organization said in a tweet that posted a photo of Dewi with a heritage of Hashtag.
Banerjee, who was also the niece of Bengal Bengal Minister Bengal Banerjee, explored the BJP poll campaign during the Assembly poll where he accused the TMC government not to allow Puja Durga in the political state of the bank.
